Information we may collect

Default Gateway may collect contact information, help request details, donation information needed for records and receipts, newsletter consent, volunteer or partner information, hardware donation information, and basic website analytics if Google Analytics is enabled.

Why we collect it

We use information to respond to requests, operate the nonprofit, track impact, issue receipts, improve services, maintain safety, and communicate with people who have asked to hear from us.

Newsletter consent is separate

Requesting help does not automatically add you to the newsletter. Newsletter signup requires a separate opt-in checkbox, and newsletter messages must include an unsubscribe option.

Photos, stories, and examples

Default Gateway will not publish photos, testimonials, stories, or before/after examples without separate written permission.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 support may be used for basic site traffic measurement once a real GA4 Measurement ID is configured. Advertising pixels are not used.

Safety

Default Gateway is not emergency or crisis support. If someone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services or appropriate crisis resources.
